This project involved a deep retrofit to 50 supported housing apartments along with associated support services and landscaping. Located on a restricted urban site, FOCUS Ireland commissioned OBFA to undertake this multi-phased refurbishment and modernisation on the basis of our established knowledge of the building and client requirements. Working with the legacy fabric of the historic structure entailed extensive site attendances, building knowledge and contract administration expertise. The entirety of the project was undertaken and managed while the site was live, with complex safety and management issues put in place to ensure separation of construction activity from the day to day requirements of vulnerable tenants and FOCUS staff.

This work was completed on time and within budgetary expectations and has successfully delivered a modern living environment for medium and long-term FOCUS Ireland residents.
