This project required the careful and considered refurbishment and modernisation of the north wing spaces at the Kilmainham Gaol Museum in Dublin. The design of consistent spaces and finishes sympathetic to the ongoing modernisation plans at this National Monument site required detailed liaison with the OPW, to ensure robust, detailed finishes that respect the importance of the site’s history.

The project delivers additional public and private support services and break out spaces while carefully upgrading and protecting the original fabric of the Gaol.
