OBFA was appointed in 2017 by Wexford County Council as the Architect and Design Team Lead for the development at Ard na Gaoithe, Whiterock, Co. Wexford. The project consists of the development of 44 semi-detached houses and apartments, with phase 1 of the scheme currently under construction.
The scheme adopts a suburban form with 2 storey structures clustered around home zones, with a central landscaped pocket park. A considered landscape and careful choice of material, texture and colour ensures a sense of solidarity, quality and permanence to the development. The scheme affords a mix of occupancies and adopts a modern Irish style with simple forms and clean lines.
