Ecological Building Systems visit to Diasen's Factory, Italy

OBFA Architect Conor travelled with Ecological Building Systems to visit DIASEN's factory in eastern Italy. DIASEN  manufacture fully breathable lime-based insulating plaster products made from Hydrated lime and recycled Cork.  It was an incredible few days of workshops and tours of projects with wonderful company -some of the leading lights in retrofit in Ireland and the UK.  Architects from the OPW, SPAB (UK), Irish Rail, RKD, Wain Morehead Architects and David Chipperfield Architects were part of the group.

A truly inspirational and immersive learning and cultural experience seeing and experiencing first hand the latest developments in breathable cork lime thermal plasters and finishes. Wonderful to also experience the local traditions of this incredible Italian region. Thank you to DIASEN and Ecological Building Systems for an engaging, cultural and informative few days.
